I had a wonderful opportunity working with Habitat for Artists in Kingston NY. My project involved bringing awareness to foreclosed properties and provided a space for those experiencing foreclosure or financial hardship, giving those individuals free donated resources. This space was also meant to create a moment of home to those who entered. The mass amount of foreclosed properties in Kingston, in New York and in our country is outstanding when one thinks about the number of homeless individuals who live on the streets every day. Be aware of your community and those who may need help.
